Jimmy Ray Putman, 70, of Florence, AL, passed away December 7, 2020 at his home after a lengthy illness. Jimmy was a retired heavy equipment operator for Colbert Steam Plant and a United States Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Jimmy is survived by:
Wife: Wanda Muse Putman
Son: James Ray Putman II
Daughter: Jennifer Putman Withers
Sister: Candice Fielder
(8) Grandchildren and (6) Great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by:
Parents: James Ray Putman and Elizabeth Viola Mercks Putman
There will be a private Celebration of Life Service at a later date at his home which he loved.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Help Center, P.O. Box 1713, Florence, AL 35630, will be greatly welcomed and appreciated by the family.
