So sorry to learn of Jimmy's death. I have very fond memories of being with Jimmy and Wanda while we played guitars and sang. They were good times. My condolences to Wanda and Candice.

Jimmy and worked at Colbert steam plant for many years we became friends and remained friends.Jimmy was loving caring man for family and friends condolences out to the family RIP my friend.

Candace, I am so very sorry to learn that Jimmy has passed away. I know you have a heavy heart with his passing. I can't imagine the loss and loneliness you feel knowing you are the only living child of your immediate family. I pray you will be surrounded by the love of your extended family and your friends at this time of sorrow. My prayers are with you and Jimmy's Wife, Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren at this difficult time. I know the Holidays will be difficult for all of you but know that you can trust that God will comfort you and grant you the peace you need to see you through the days, weeks and years ahead. Jimmy was the oldest of four (4) - Shelia Putman Black, Dennis Michael Putman and Candice Putman Fielder (Wayford) from the union of James “Buddy” & Elizabeth Mercks Putman. He finished high school at Rogers (Greenhill) and served 4 years in the US Navy. He loved country music and taught himself how to play guitar as a youngster with a guitar from our dad. He enjoyed motorcycles and never missed a chance to pick & sing! The last few short years were a struggle of health issues slowly rendering him to his bed under the loving care of his precious wife, Wanda. He never gave up on life, it gave up on him but he is now breathing and resting comfortably. Fly high my big brother ❤️
