At Greenhill Funeral Home we take pride in our care and love for the families that we serve during one of the most difficult times in their lives. With the passing of our Dad, grandpa and brother, we were on the receiving end of that love and care. The amount of love and support that has been shown to all of the Greenhill Funeral Home family over the last week has been truly amazing. The calls, texts, Facebook messages, flowers, food and visits have meant so much to us all. A special thank you to Miles Stutts for organizing the very touching drive by visitation, led by all of the following funerals home (in no particular order)-

2019 Annual Grief Seminar

Dear Friends:

Again this year, Greenhill Funeral Home is pleased to offer our annual Grief Support Class.  This is provided at no cost to the participants.  The cost of the class, all materials and hand outs are provided by the funeral home.

This year, the class will again be held at the Killen Senior Citizens Building at 331 J.C. Mauldin Hwy, Killen, AL 35645. The Killen Senior Citizen Building is located at the back of the Killen Police Department. The class starts Monday night, September 23rd and will continue until December 2nd. The class runs from 6:30—8:00pm each Monday night.   It will again be led by Don Williams, noted speaker and author who has had many years’ experience in grief counseling.

We really believe you will find this class to be helpful to you and we encourage you to try it and determine for yourself the worth of it.

Please feel free to come and bring others with you, whether or not Greenhill Funeral Home served your family.  We just want to provide this service for you.

We ask that you please call either Don Williams at 256-366-3327, or the funeral home at 256-757-0160 and let us know that you plan to attend.  We will have refreshments that night and this will help us in planning for that.

We look forward to seeing you on Monday night, September 23rd at 6:30pm.  Please call us if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Greenhill Funeral Home

2019 Annual Candlelight Memorial Service

Our annual Candlelight Memorial Service will be held Sunday afternoon, December 1st, 2019, at 1:30pm in the chapel of our funeral home.  It will be a time of reflection through words, music, and fellowship.  We invite you to participate in this event even though Greenhill Funeral Home might not have conducted the service for your loved one.  You will be provided with candles for the service.  Please call us and provide us the name or names of your loved ones that you would like read at this service.

Continuing our traditions, Greenhill Funeral Home is again this year providing a Christmas tree to place an ornament in memory of a deceased loved one.  Please feel free to stop by Greenhill Funeral Home at anytime to place your ornament on our “Memorial Christmas Tree”.

Greenhill Funeral Home is providing this “Memorial Christmas Tree” for everyone, whether Greenhill Funeral Home conducted the service or not—we invite you to participate.
