Harold Rudine Quillen, 68, of Florence, passed away October 5, 2010 at ECM Hospital in Florence. He was a member of Creekside Church of Christ, a U. S. Navy Veteran, having participated in the Cuban Missile Blockade, and a retired textile worker. Survivors include: Wife: Linda Faye Quillen Son: Tony Quillen and wife Dawn Sister: Bonnie Quillen Half Sisters: Lucille Stutts and Edna Cannon Grandchildren: Michael Staggs, Chris Staggs, Jaidyn Quillen, Avery Quillen, and Sylas Quillen Great Grandchild: Eli Staggs Preceded in death by: Parents: William Henry and Addie Quillen Daughter: Kimberly Staggs Visitation is Wednesday, October 06, 2010 from 6:00-9:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday at 2:00pm at the funeral home with Tom Clay officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery with full Military Honors. Pallbearers will be Michael Staggs, Chris Staggs, Greg Blevins, Brett Blevins, Corey Mitchell, and Joey Mitchell. The family would like to thank Heritage Manor, Generations of Red Bay, and the staff of CCU at ECM Hospital. Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
