Obituary of Carrie Ann Gist

Carrie Ann Gist, 41, of Rogersville, passed away July 23, 2010, at Huntsville Hospital after an extended illness. She was a housewife and member of Springfield First Baptist Church. Survivors include: Husband: Chris Gist Son: Austin Neal Gist Daughter: Haley Brooke Gist Father: William Thomas McGee Brother: Tyler Thomas McGee Visitation will be Sunday, July 25, from 4:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Bro. Audie Bogus officiating. Burial will be in Springfield Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bruce Britnell, Corey McGee, Chuck Stevens, Dale Stevens, Kenny Stevens, and David Walker. Honorary pallbearers will be Samantha Elam, Denice Higginbotham, Tammy Nelson, Kyle Walker, and Tonya Newton. The family would like to thank Dr. Marshall Schreeder and Leigh Ann Childers of Clearview Cancer Institute in Huntsville; Springfield First Baptist Church; American Cancer Society; and Huntsville Hospital 7th floor. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society. Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
