Obituary of Neal Hughes

Mr. Neal McCoy Hughes, 49, of 559 County Road 501, Lexington, AL, died Monday, July 5, 2010 after an extended illness. He was a native of Lauderdale County, AL, a graduate of Loretto High School, the University of North Alabama, and the University of Alabama. He served six years in the U. S. Navy.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 6 at 11:00am at Center Hill Church of Christ cemetery with Doug Carmack officiating.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerald Hughes and stepfather Earl White; grandparents, Buford Barnett and Ed and Weater Hughes.
Survivors include:
Mother: Carolyn White
Sister: Tammy Woody and husband David
Nephews: Russel Hawn and Justin Woody
Grandmother: Willie Pearl Barnett.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Barnett,Dale Barnett, David Barnett, Andy Frith, Russel Hawn, Nathan James and David Woody.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
