Waylon Johns, Age 77, of Florence, AL, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Glenwood Healthcare of an extended illness.
He was a native of Lauderdale County, Alabama and was a memeber of Shiloh Church of Christ. He was a U.S. Army Corporal Veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired auto parts salesmen.
Survivors are:
Wife: Edith Louise Johns of Greenhill, AL
Daughter: Deborah Johns Parrott and husband Ben of Johnson City, TN
Brother: Marcus Johns
Sisters: Lucille Quillen and Joyce Bowman
Mr. Johns was preceded in death by:
His parents Vernon Jackson Johns and Reba Rebecca Johns

Cledith Johns
Sister: Effie Beavers
The funeral service for Mr. Johns will be held Thursday, April 29, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Shiloh Church of Christ. He will Lie in state at church from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Officiating will be Bro. Howell Bigham. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery with full military honors.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 28, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Greenhill Funeral Home.
