William Henry Smith, 77, of Lexington, passed away April 25, 2010, at ECM Hospital in Florence. He was a retired carpenter, a member of Northside Church of Christ, and a member of Carpenters Local #109 (now #1209) for 50 plus years. Survivors include: Wife: Ruth Gordon Smith - Lexington Sons: Wade Smith (Becky) - Loretto, TN Brent Smith (Mary) - Plano, TX Stephen Smith - Lexington Step Sons: Ricky Gordon (Lisa) - Lexington Jeff Gordon - Killen Daughter: Belinda Bailey (Tommy) - Lexington Step Daughter: Maureen Jones (Keith) - Killen Brothers: Ray Smith - Killen Bobby Smith - Five Points, TN Sisters: Theodora Hale - Killen Doris Green - Olive Branch, MS Gloria (Dodie) Allen - Lexington (14) Grandchildren and (8) Great Grandchildren Preceded in death by: Parents Jesse and Idell Smith Daughter: Selene Smith Sister: Shirley Hamner Visitation will be Tuesday, April 27, from 5:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 11:00am at the funeral home with Bro. Matt Oglesby officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Killen. Grandsons will be pallbearers. Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
