Geneva Smith Myrick, 81, of Killen, passed away April 8, 20l0, at ECM Hospital after an extended illness. She was a member of Atlas Church of Christ and retired from Tee's Manufacturing Co. Survivors include: Sons: Larry W. Myrick of Killen Charlie Joe Myrick of Killen Darryl D. Myrick and wife Teresa of Killen Brother: John Fred Smith of Hartselle Sister: Ann Garrett of Decatur (7) Grandchildren (2) Great Grandchildren Preceded in death by: Husband: Willis Bradley Myrick Parents: Henry E. and Susie Anna Smith Brothers: Logan Smith, Robert Smith, Norman Smith, and Wallace Smith Sisters: Birdie Jones, Helen Basden, Ruby Ashby, and Jeanette Liles Great Grandson: Willis Michael Myrick Visitation will be Saturday, April 10, from 6:00-9:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Sunday at 1:00pm at Atlas Church of Christ with Bro. Van Vansandt and Bro. Steve Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Atlas Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 12:30-1:00 Sunday at the church. Pallbearers will be: Daniel, Myrick, Michael Myrick, Adam Myrick, Bradley Myrick, Todd McInnis, and Kevin Moreland. The family would like to thank Northwest Alabama Cancer and their doctors, nurses, and staff for their care. Greenhill Funeral Home is directing.
