Gilbert Morris Hammond, 67, of Lexington, passed away January 23, 2010. He was a Methodist, Mason, Shriner, retired from manufacturing and banking, and was a cattleman.
Survivors include:
Wife: Patricia Porter Hammond
Daughter: Sherry Ezell
Brother: Ted Hammond
Sister: Joan Carpenter
(4) Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by:
Son: Phil Hammond
Parents: Horace and Ellen Hammond
A private family graveside funeral service will be Sunday at 1:00pm at Portertown Cemetery with Tim Hammond officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a college fund at First Metro Bank.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
