Robert Jason Poss, 39, of Florence, AL, passed away August 1, 2011. He was a truck driver for Thorton Iron and Metal and a Christian.
Survivors include:
Mother: Cheryl Lynn Poss
Father: Robert Daniel Poss
Sons: Robert Wesley Poss and Jonathan Ray Poss
Grandmother: Ann Perry
Stepmother: Myra Poss
Visitation will be Thursday, August 4, 2011 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday at Hurricane Presbyterian Church in Rogersville, AL at 4:00 P.M. with Bro. Jimmy Cox officiating. The burial will follow in Hurricane Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Poss, Mark Poss, Greg Poss, Tommy Poss, David Boston, and Jesse Turner.
Honorary pallbearers will be his fellow truck drivers from Thorton Iron and Metal.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jason Poss Memorial Fund at Listerhill Credit Union.
