Obituary of Ruth Ellen Davis

Ruth Ellen Davis, 79, of Greenhill, passed away November 14, 2009, at Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, TN after an extended illness. She was formerly of the Appleton, TN Community, a member of the Church of Christ, and retired from the Salant & Salant Company.
Survivors include one son, Jimmy P. Davis and wife Linda of Rogersville, daughter, Bobbie Ruth Kistner and husband Billy of Hendersonville, TN.
Also surviving are three grandchildren, Tina Kistner Hardwick and husband Steve of Hendersonville, Tim Kistner of Hendersonville, and Misty Davis Clark and husband Mike of Killen; three great granddaughters, Tiffani Hardwick, Olivia Clark, and Lilly Clark.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Davis, and her parents, William Jason and Gladys Mae (Cole) Johnson.
Visitation will be Monday, November 16, from 6:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Tuesday, November 17 at the funeral home at 10:00am with Bro. Howell Bigham officiating. Burial will be in Bonnertown Cemetery.
