Bobbie Jean Hill, 75, of Florence, passed away October 11, 2009, at ECM Hospital after a brief illness. She was a homemaker and member of Stutts Road Church of Christ.
Survivors include:
Husband: James L. Hill - Greenhill Daughters: Kathy Eckl and Tommy Wilma Balentine and husband Donnie Linda Dean and husband Thomas All of Greenhill, AL (10) Grandchildren ( 9) Great Grandchildren ( 1) Great Great Grandchild
Preceded in death by:
Parents: Bennie Herschel and Bessie Clara Canerday Daughter: Janice Clemons Brother: Reeder Canerday Sister: Ruby Canerday Abernathy Grandson: Shannon Clemons Son-in-Law: Thomas Dean
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 13, from 5:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday at l:00pm at the funeral home with Bro. Tim Grigsby and Bro. Thomas Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Emmaline Stutts Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Renfred Dean, Nathan Dean, Jamie Eckl, Ron Eckl, Shane Watkins, and Chad Balentine.
The family would like to thank ECM ICU for taking special care of Mom and to all who have been with us in this time. She was a special loving wife of 59 years and Mother and Grandmother. She was a very special person to all who knew her, especially to her numerous nieces and nephews.
