Mary Elizabeth Michael, 87, of Killen, passed away September 25, 2009, at Glenwood Healthcare in Florence. She was a retired seamstress from Genesco and a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: Husband: Hollis Michael - Killen Sons: Marlon L. Michael - Florence Tonnis R. Michael (Janet Jeffers) - Rogersville J. W. Michael (Barbara) - Florence Daughters: Shirley Robertson ( Dick) - Florence Sherea White - Florence Brother: David Hale - Killen Sister: Betty Ann Curtis - Killen (16) Grandchildren; (35) Great Grandchildren; (12) Great- Great Grandchildren Preceded in death by: Parents- John Horace and Mary Alice Hale Sisters: Katherin Beatle and Jewell Dean Hale Brothers: Robbie D. Hale, J. T. Hale, and Jimmy Hale Son: Hobert Michael Daughters-in-Law: Nancy, Jerrie Nell, and Diane Michael Son-in-Law: Don White Visitation will be Sunday, September 27, 2009, from l:00-3:30pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:30pm at the funeral home with Bro. Laymon Brewer, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Hale Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
