Maudie Pearl (Garner) Stanford, 66, of Killen, AL, passed away Friday, September 25, 2009 at ECM Hospital in Florence after a brief illness. She was born in Lawrenceburg, TN, was a homemaker and a member of Killen Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, L. E. Garner and Dovie Tankersley Garner, and a son, Lee Edward Stanford. Survivors include husband: Joe Stanford of Killen Step-son: Eddie Stanford Daughter: Malinda Stanford Step-daughter: Pamela Stanford Sisters: Sue Garner Brown, Barbara Garner Watson, and Dianne Garner Kirk (3) Grandchildren The funeral service will be Sunday, September 27, 2009, at 2:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home with Bro. Stan Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, September 26, 2009, from 4:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Jes Stanford, Jamie Stanford, Kent White, Matthew Stanford, Mike Watson, and Matt Watson. Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
