Obituary of Oscar Gooch

Oscar Randall Gooch, age 62, passed from this life on Monday, September 21, 2009, surrounded by his beloved family and friends at his home in Greenhill. He was a very proud U. S. Army Veteran and a member of Milners Chapel Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Hazel Gooch and a baby brother, Charles Wayne Gooch. He is survived by his devoted wife Brenda (Ezekiel) Gooch, Greenhill; son, Bradley Gooch (Wynn), Lawrenceburg, TN; daughters, Tammy Bump (Steven) and Kimberly Gooch, all of Greenhill; brother, Allen Gooch (Sue), Killen; special nieces, Cheryl Behel, Killen; and Jennifer Lard, Greenhill; special friends, Billy Ray and Evelyn Quillen. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday at 2:00pm at the funeral home with Bro. Ricky Green officiating. Burial will be in Emmaline Stutts Cemetery with Military Honors. Pallbearers will be: Billy Ray Quillen, Jeffrey Quillen, Gary Warrington, Justin Allen, Greg Martin and Randy Meyer. Honorary Pallbearer is Stanley Williams. Special thanks to Dr. Patricia Auxier, Dr. William Heaton, and Hospice of the Shoals. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Shoals. Greenhill Funeral Home is directing
