Mary (Corky) Valley Baker, Age 79, of Muscle Shoals, Al passed away Monday, Sept. !4, 2009 at Helen Keller Hospital of an extended illness.
She was a native of Colbert County, Al. She was a retired waitress and a member of the Town Creek Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by here husband, Ledford H. Baker and her parents: Joseph Gilbert Hallmark and Jessie Louise Hallmark.
Survivors include Son: Randy Utley of Ferndale, Michigan; daughter: Candace Utley of Muscle Shoals, Al; Brother: Ricky Richardson of Priceville, Al; Sister: Majorie Vandiver of Leighton, Al; 5 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren
Funeral Service will be Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009 at 12 Noon, at Poplar Creek Baptist Church. Visitation will be at the church from 11 AM till 12 Noon. Officiating will be Rev. Hershel Quinn. Burial will follow in Poplar Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers are: Charles Fox, Michael Vandiver, Larry Coans and Eric Sparks.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
