Tea Jay Bivens, 32, of Florence, passed away September 9, 2009, at ECM Hospital in Florence. He was an iron worker for Mid-Steel in Mobile, and a Baptist.
Survivors include: Wife: Connie Bivens; Mother: Rebecca Bivens; Step-daughters: Lynn Miller and Amanda Moore; Special granddaughter, Shelby, who loved him dearly; Grandson: Opie; Two step-grandchildren; Brothers: Billy Bivens of Leoma, TN, Dwayne Bivens of Leoma, Chester Bivens and wife Regenia of Leoma, John Boy Bivens of Leoma, and Stevie Bivens of Five Points, TN; Sisters: Brenda Bivens of Leoma, Mary Lynn Brewer and Nathan of Lawrenceburg, Rose Hunt and Tracy of Leoma, and Charlotte Bassham and Brent of Lawrenceburg.

Visitation will be Friday, September 11, 2009, from 10:00-1:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Bro. Royce Creekmore and Bro. Bobby Belew officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Brett Bassham, Eric Hunt, B. J. Bivens, Ken Ferguson, Tommy Wooden, Tommy White.
