Obituary of Jean Hill

Willa Jean Johnson Hill, 91, of St. Joseph, TN, passed away on January 18, 2017 at ECM Hospital. She worked for ECM Hospital, TVA, and the City of St. Joseph, Tennessee. She is survived by her beloved children, Linda Hill, Kenny and Sandie Hill, and Meloni and Willie McCormick. She had one granddaughter, Daemeon Talley, and two great-grandchildren, Trinity Rivers and John Rivers. She was preceded in death by her parents Roxie and Arthur Johnson, sister Exaline Johnson, brother Thomas Johnson, and sister Elizabeth Wilcoxson. She was married to Wayland Hill for 49 years until his death in 1994. She had a wonderful family of friends and special nieces and nephews, Bobbie Caudle, Mary Fusch, Alice Mancini, Mary Riley, Susan Freeze, Doug Hill, and the late Richard Wilcoxson. She was a member of the St. Joseph Church of Christ. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Greenhill Funeral Home in Greenhill, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M.-2:00 P.M. with the memorial service to follow. Donations may be made to The Jesus Mission in St. Joseph, Tennessee. Greenhill Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
