Obituary of Shirley Robertson

Shirley Dean Robertson, 77, of Killen, AL, walked out of her Earthly life leaving behind all of the pain and suffering as she walked into the arms of her Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ on Thursday, December 8, 2016. She was surrounded by her husband of 59 years and their children. Mrs. Robertson was born on August 1, 1939 in Lauderdale County, Alabama to Hollis and Mary Elizabeth Michael, the first of their six children. The majority of her adult life she devoted to making a warm and loving home for her husband and children. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death by two brothers, Hobart Michael and his wife Nancy, as well as Lindon Michael and his wife Jerri Nell, her sister Sherea White and her husband Don, all of Florence, and a sister-in-law Diane Michael of Rogersville, AL. Mrs. Robertson was survived by: Her husband: Louis Robertson Sons: Terry Robertson and his wife Becky of Pueblo West, CO Tony Robertson and his wife Beverly of Killen, AL Troy Robertson and his wife Debra of Rogersville, AL Tobey Robertson and his wife Laurie of Tuscumbia Daughters: Tamela Deaton and her husband Paul of Killen, AL Teena Buchanan and her husband Brad of Lexington, AL Brothers: Tonnis Michael and Janet of Rogersville, AL J.W. Michael and Barbara of Florence (12) Grandchildren and (26) Great-grandchildren Numerous nieces and nephews Visitation will be Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Adam Gooch officiating. Burial will be in Hale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Robertson, Ethan Holt, Anthony Deaton, Adam Deaton, Jason Deaton, and Daniel Robertson. Honorary pallbearers will be Rickey Michael and Cam Michael.
