Betty A. Smith, 68, of Killen, AL, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 at ECM Hospital. Mrs. Smith was retired from Tee Jays Manufacturing and a member of the Antioch Church of Christ.
Survivors include:
Husband: Junior Smith, Killen, AL
Daughter: Connie Clemmons(Paul) Killen, AL
Brothers: Donnie Abernathy(Brenda) Greenhill, AL
Sonnie Abernathy(Donna) Centerhill, AL
Sister: Peggy Peck(Sherrel)
Grandchildren: Kaylee Atkinson(Jesse) & Kody Ridling
Great Grandchild: Jayleigh Atkinson
Preceded in death by:
Parents: Cecil Roy Abernathy & Arvella Abernathy
Brother: Billy Roy Abernathy
Sister-in-law: Cathy Abernathy
Grandchildren: Tyler & Shanna Ridling
Visitation for Mrs. Smith will be Tuesday, Dec. 6, from 6:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday, Dec. 7, at 1:00pm at Antioch Church of Christ with Bro Bill Brazier officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from 12:00-1:00pm. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Mark Sanders, Jeff Nunley, Kenny Abernathy, Gary Smith, Chris Abernathy & Joel Romine.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
