Randy Joe Bretherick Randy Joe Bretherick , 55, of Florence, Alabama passed away July 8,2011 at ECM hospital after an extended illness. Visitation will be 1-3 pm Monday July 11, at Lone Cedar Church Of Christ with the memorial service immediately following. Mr. Bretherick was preceded in death by his parents, Buford Gaynell, and Alma Cabler, Brother Jerry Edward, and his beloved pets. He is survived by his wife of 30 years ,Deborah Chandler Bretherick, son Jeremy Woods, Daughter Megan Bretherick of Atlanta, GA, Brother Dennis (Margaret) , Sisters, Betty Ferrell(Lloyd) and Kay Burks(Joe), Mother in Law, Shirley Chandler, Brother in Law Sammy (Judy),Jonathan (Laura),Craig Chandler and many nieces and nephews. During his life, he served in the US Army and spent time in Vietnam. He spent most of his career as an iron worker and as a HVAC Technician. He was a Scuba Dive master and loved spending time on and under the water with his friends. He was an avid pet lover and has many at home that will miss deeply. Memorial will be directed by Greenhill Funeral Home . In Lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at Bank Independent to help with his Burial.
