Lewis Ty Killen, 49, of Killen, AL, passed away July 24, 2009, at his residence. He was a certified pipe fitter and a member of North Carolina Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 28, 2009 from 6:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 11:00am at the funeral home with Bro. Don Williams officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: Wife: Brenda Phillips Moore Killen - Killen; Daughter: Hailey Jade Killen - St. Joseph; Parents: Fulton (Pete) and Helen Lyons Killen - Killen; Stepson: Phillip Moore - Florence; Brothers: Wade Killen and wife Maria - Killen Dale Killen and wife Ann - Memphis.
Ty loved sports, playing all at Rogers School, baseball, basketball, football quarter back for 2 years. He finished Rogers in the class of 1968. He also loved car racing and fishing.
