Lambert Doyle Behel, 88, of Florence, AL, passed away November 7, 2016 at ECM Hospital. Mr. Behel was retired from Reynolds Metal Company, raised cattle, and farmed. He was a native of Lauderdale County and member of Lone Cedar Church of Christ.
Mr. Behel was preceded in death by:
Parents: Ray Issom Behel & Bertha Mae Grigsby Behel
Wife: Earline Pettus Behel
Infant sons: Tommy Ray, Noble Doyle, & Ricky Stephen Behel
Brothers: Wesley, Roy, Harry, Everett, Roland, Heairl, & Paul Reeder Behel
Sister: Allie Mae Dickerson Stanford
Visitation will be Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 10:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. at Lone Cedar Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the church with Bro. Tim Grigsby officiating. Burial will be in Lone Cedar Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Behel, Curtis Gene Behel, Rickie Behel, Butch Henson, Casey Behel, & Jared Behel. Honorary pallbearers will be Russell Dickerson, R.L. Behel, David Behel, Don Behel, Eddie Behel, & all his great-nephews.
The family would like to thank his special friends and caregivers Marilyn & Butch Henson and their girls Chasity, April, Hannah, and Katelyn. They would also like to thank Dr. Mann, Paige and the Staff at Cedar View Assisted Living, and ECM Hospital Nurses and Staff for their care and support during this time.
