Connie Lucille Swinea Peden, 64, of Florence, AL, passed away July 4, 2011 of a brief illness. She was a waitress at several local restaurants and member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include: Daughter: Melissa Burbank (Chris) of Greenhill Brothers: Roy Swinea (Judy) of Greenbrier, TN Arthur Swinea (Polly) of Florida Charlie Swinea (Louise) of Michigan Robert Louis Swinea (Dora) of Michigan Sisters: Betty Stamps (Carlton) of Iron City, TN Elizabeth Hodges of Greenbrier, TN (5) Grandchildren and (2) Great-grandchildren Many nieces, nephews, and friends She was preceded in death by: Her parents, Wiley Edward and Letha Elizabeth Hill Swinea Brothers: Edward, Carrol, Thomas, Clinton, and Benton Swinea Sisters: Wylene Belew and Hazel Dotson Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2011, from 6:00-9:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Tim Grigsby and Bro. David Highland officiating. Burial will be in Tabernacle Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gaylon Stamps, Christopher Burbank, Justin Woodard, Terry Swinea, Jerry Swinea, and Jason Burbank. Greenhill Funeral Home directing.
