Ellvie Doline Hamner Peck, 93, of Killen, passed away December 30, 2010 at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home. She was a housewife and member of Atlas Church of Christ. Survivors include: Sons: Jack (Jewel ) Peck - Killen Bobby Gerald Peck - Killen Daughters: Frances (Eulis) Parker - Killen Ann (O.L.) Wallace - Killen Peggy (Tub) Oakley - Prospect, TN Brothers: Howard Hamner - Killen Herschel Hamner - Killen Horace Hamner - Killen Hollie Hamner - Killen Troy Hamner - Killen George Hamner - Killen John Hamner - Florence Sisters: Agnes Clemmons - Killen Irma Estes - Killen Martha Burrow - Dyersburg, TN (13) Grandchildren, (21 ) Great Grandchildren, and (8) Great-grandchildren Preceded in death by: Husband: Julius Peck, and an infant daughter Parents: Robert and Mary Hamner Sister: Edith Nichols Brother: Hunter Hamner She was a resident of Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home from Jan. 19, 2004 until Dec. 30, 2010. She was voted Queen of Hearts 2004 at Lauderdale Christian and also was voted Miss Lauderdale Christian and placed in the top ten for the State of Alabama. Visitation will be Saturday, January 1, 2011 from 5:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Sunday, Jan. 2, at 2:00pm at Atlas Church of Christ with Steve Shelton and Van Vansandt officiating. She will lie in state at the church Sunday from 1:00-2:00pm. Burial will be in Atlas Church of Christ Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wayne Peck, Robert Lane Peck, Victor Peck, Barry Parker, Craig Wallace, Eric Oakley, John Peck, and Dillon Peck. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Wallace, Randy Smith, Bobby Gene Peck, Jace Peck, Barrett Parker, Ryan Landers, Alex Yu, Easton Oakley, and Tucker English. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Shoals or Lauderdale Christian Activity. Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
