Virginia Marcelle Hill Holloway, 90, of Greenhill, AL, passed away September 8, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Holloway was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker to her family. She was a member of the Shiloh Church of Christ and the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Holloway is survived by:
Husband: Martin William Holloway Sr.
Sons: Martin William "Billy" Holloway, Jr. and wife Debbie of Lexington, AL &
Dewayne Hill Holloway and wife Teresa of Greenhill
Daughter: Donnie Holloway Wier and husband Allen of Guntersville, AL
Sister: Elease Hill Burgess
(6) Grandchildren and (8) great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents Noah Lee Hill, Sr. and Mary Lou Canerday Hill; (4) brothers; and (1) sister.
Visitation will be Friday, September 9, 2016 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at Shiloh Church of Christ. The body will lie in state from 1-2:00 P.M. at the church. Bro. Howell Bigham will officiate the service and burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Holloway, Mike McGill, Heath McGill, Wesley Holloway, Wesley Wier, and Tommy Riner.
The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice Care, especially Kristan and Teresa.
