Shirley Carolyn Huff Butler, 74, of Greenhill, AL, passed away August 22, 2016 at her residence after an extended illness. Mrs. Butler was the retired President of Gunite Contracting and was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Butler is survived by:
Husband of 53 years: Reed Butler
Son: Jason R. Butler and wife Kim
"Her Sweet Angel Babies", her grandchildren: Lynly and Kenzy Butler
Brother: Eddie Huff
Sisters: Ann Glover & Sue Chandler (Dennis)
Sister-in-law: Ann Carter
Numerous Nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus Leroy Huff and Letha Pauline Wilson Huff; brothers Rex Huff & Everett Carter; and brother-in-law Don Glover.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Mark
Stokes. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joel Glover, Everett Chandler, Guy Carter, Pete Mangum, Harold McAfee, and Raymon Chandler. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dennis Chandler, Jim Hollis, Floyd Hannah, Jr., R.T. Arnett, Robert Coats, Travis Hannah, and Charles Nabers.
The family would like to especially thank Dr. McFall; the staff of Amedisys Hospice, especially Teresa, Jesse, and Leigh; her special caregiver Sherry Fowler; and all her special relatives and friends.
