Kate Nell Behel, 87, of Florence, AL, passed away June 10, 2009, at ECM Hospital in Florence, after a brief illness. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include: Daughters: Nell Marie Lawrence Brenda Behel Fitzgerald Judy Hennessee and husband Steve Brother: Glenn Gray (5) Grandchildren (3) Great Grandchildren
Preceded in death by: Husband: Everett Lee Behel Parents: Gus and Mamie Rogers Gray Son: Larry Behel Son-in-Law: Jerry Lawrence Grandson: Timothy Lawrence
Visitation will be Friday, 5:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday at 2:00pm at Atlas Church of Christ with Bro. Tim Grigsby officiating. The body will lie in state from 1:00-2:00pm at the church. Burial will be in Atlas Cemetery.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
