Obituary of Ju Jien (JJ) Kwan

Ju Jien Kwan (JJ), age 36, of Greenhill, AL went home to be with the Lord on June 1, 2009 at Huntsville Hospital due to injuries sustained in a car wreck on March 11, 2009. Mr. Kwan was born on September 24, 1972 and served in the Military. JJ always had a smile for everyone. He was a hard worker and always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a devoted husband and loving father who loved his family and his country. He had a host of friends and never met a stranger. He leaves behind a devoted wife, Laura (Nichols) Kwan, who was at his bedside throughout his long battle; Sons: Sam, Jesse, and Jeremy; Daughter Jenny; Granddaughter Kori Lane; Parents Kok Heng and Yok Lin Kwan of Malaysia and Leonard and Etta Nichols of Florence; Brother Ju Woey Kwan; Extended family Bubba and Chasity Nichols, Debra and Mike Montgomery, Crystal and Danny Wilkerson, and Jackie and David Gregg, 9 nieces and nephews, 9 Great nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends who will miss him greatly. Special thanks to the Trama Doctors and nurses and the 4th floor nurses and staff at Huntsville Hospital for their care and devotion. Also for all the prayers and support that his family has received. JJ, you will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. We love you- Laura & Children. Visitation with the family will be held Friday, June 5, 2009 from 12 PM-2PM for the family and friends with the Memorial Service to follow at 2:00PM at the Florence Blvd. Missionary Baptist Church -3315 Florence Blvd. Florence, AL. Honoraries will be: MSG. Mike Montgomery, Sgt. Kirk Nelson, Pvt. Matthew Montgomery, Josh Gregg, Randall Holt, Matt Inman, Dennis Inman, and Chuck Yarbrough.
