Obituary of George "Frog" Fowler

George Fletcher Fowler, 81, of Florence, passed away June 23, 2011, at ECM Hospital. He was retired from Bevis Manufacturing Co. and was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ. He was a well known musician and performed as "Frog" Fowler. He taught and loved music.
Survivors include:
Son: Roger Dale Fowler and wife Gail
Daughters:
Melissa Fowler Ticer and husband Travis
Lorie A. Hamm and husband Tim
Brother: Lloyd Fowler
Sisters:
Claudia Clemmons
Dorothy Glover
(5) Grandchildren, (5) Great Grandchildren, and (2) Step Grandchildren
Preceded in death by:
Wife: Nellie Lou Fowler
Parents: Bayless Floyd Fowler and Vonna May Fowler
Visitation will be Sunday, June 26, from 12:00-2:00pm at Mt. Zion Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm with Robert Huffaker and Doug Bingham officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
