George David Butler, 63, of Killen, AL, passed away June 22, 2016 from colon cancer at his sister's home in Greenhill. Mr. Butler was a member of Pipe Fitter & Welder Local 760.
David was preceded in death by his parents George and Georgia Mae Butler and his sister Connie.
He is survived by sister and brother-in-law Ted & Beverly Short; brother Jackie Butler; son David Butler, Jr. of Augusta, GA; grandchildren Karma & Lil David Butler, both from Augusta; nieces Bridget & Michelle Butler and Kelly Gooch; nephews Lynne Butler, Chris Short, & Kevin Short; and a host of friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 23 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with burial in Shiloh Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lynne Butler, Chris Short, Kevin Short, Bob Gooch, Danny Jones, and Glenn Lee Butler.
