Jimmy O'Neal Keeton, 74, of Florence, AL, passed away at his residence on May 30, 2009. He was a Methodist and retired co-owner of P&K Western Store, and had been in the construction and logging business. Survivors include: Wife: Barbara Jean Pruitt Keeton - Florence Son: Gary Neal Keeton and wife Janice - Florence Brothers: Marshall R. "Pete" Keeton and wife Linda - Iron City, TN Sisters: Betty Jo Rich - Zip City Clura Nell Keeton - Iron City, TN Thelma Ann Barkley and husband Jimmy - Cypress Inn, TN Grandson: Kenny O'Neal Keeton and wife Teresa Granddaughter: Carrie Michelle Keeton Step-Great Grandchildren: Haley and Jon Several nieces and nephews Preceded in death by: Parents Johnathan Marshall Nelson and Pauline Wilson Keeton Brothers: Billy, Lewis, and Jackie Keeton Visitation will be Sunday, May 31, 2009, from 6:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at ll:00 a.m., Monday, June 1, 2009, graveside at Mt. Tabor Cemetery with Bro. Emerald Baily and Bro. Jim Baccus officiating. The family would like to thank Home Health Care nurses and Hospice of North Alabama nurses, and all other family and friends who helped during his illness. Greenhill Funeral Home is directing.
