Mary Evelyn Canerday Ghrigsby, of Lexington, AL, died on May 18, 2009 at Helen Keller Hospital of an extended illness. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: Sons: Denny Canerday and wife Sherry,Anthony Ghrigsby and Clay Ghrigsby. Daughter: Terri Cooley and husband James Brothers: Buddy, Jake, Joe and Ray Canderday, Sisters: Johnnie Murphree, Bonnie Adams, and Debbie Fike. Granddaughters: Tiffany Horton,Chelsea Ghrigsby,and Cheyenne and Erika Cooley. . Grandsons: Joshua Horton and Dylan Canerday
Preceded in death by: Parents: Leonard Canerday and Eva Mae Canerday. Sister: Brenda Canerday
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 20, 2009, from 6:00-9:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday, May 21, at 11:00am at the funeral home with Bro. Harley Hollingsworth officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery.
. Pallbearers: Dusty Fike, Jerry Canerday, James Cooley, Chris Kimbrough, Joseph Canerday and Doug Hice.
She was a Loving Mother and Grandmother.
