Jackie Leroy ("Jack") Wanner, 80, of Florence passed away April 28, 2016, at ECM Hospital in Florence. He was a retired service technician (27 years) with Sears, Roebuck, and Co. He was a 1954 graduate of Rogers High School.
Survivors include:
Wife of 58 years: Edith "Suzy" Kelley Wanner
Sons: Allan Wanner (Judy)
Joe Wanner
Grandchildren: Amelia Rogers (Paul)
Chris Wanner
Mallory
Great Grandchildren: Chase Wanner (Selena)
Raven Rogers
Emmalee Rogers
Soon to be great great grandchild: Bralynn Wanner
Preceded in death by:
Parents: Robbie Wanner and Elizabeth Wanner Herston
Brother: Bobby Wanner
Sons: Steve and Timmy Wanner
Grandson: James Wanner
He loved the outdoors - hunting, fishing, and wood working. One of the things he enjoyed most was fishing on the Tennessee River. He had a special gift of building and repairing things.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
