Obituary of Thomas Thompson

Thomas Edward Thompson, 85, of Killen, AL, passed away April 14, 2016 at his residence of a brief illness. Mr. Thompson was a retired sign painter at TVA, a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War, and a member of the Church of Christ.
Mr. Thompson is survived by:
Wife: Geraldine Gregory Thompson
Sons: Paul Thompson of Muscle Shoals, AL, Glen Thompson of Florence, AL, and Wesley Thompson of Florence
Bothers: Robert Lewis Thompson, Harold Dean Thompson, and Donald Thompson
Sisters: Faye Dodd & Sue Darby
(9) Grandchildren and (6) Great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by parents Benjamin Dewey Thompson and Gertrude Gray Thompson and by his son John Thompson.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Sidney Fulford officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Paul Thompson, Glen Thompson, Wesley Thompson, Stephen Thompson, Steifon Passmore, Gabriel Thompson, and Scott Smith.
Greenhill Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
