Irene House
Algie Irene Burgess House, 100, of Florence, passed away March 14, 2016, at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home. She was of the Church of Christ Faith and a Nurse's Aide at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home.
Survivors include:
Son: James David House and wife Lucille
Sisters: Sue Hargett
Flora Goodman
Jean Starkey
Grandsons: Jeremiah Patrick House
Chris Johnson
Host of nephews and nieces.
Preceded in death by:
Parents: George and Pearl Fowler Burgess
Grandson: Ricky English, Jr.
Husband: Nattie L. (Bud) House
Brothers: Alvin, Belton, and Ellis Burgess
Sisters: Pauline Pennington, Audrey Kelley, and Vonna Graham
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 16, from 5:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday at 11:00am at Lone Cedar Church of Christ with Bro. Tim Grigsby officiating. The body will lie in state from 10:00-11:00am at the church. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family would like to thank her very close friend, Dorothy Gray, and the staff at Lauderdale Christion Nursing Home.
