Obituary of Gentry Allen

Ottis Gentry Allen, 93, of Lexington, AL, passed away February 13, 2016, at ECM Hospital. Mr. Allen was a retired aluminum worker at Reynolds and a farmer in addition to being a US Navy Veteran. He was stationed in Casablanca, North Africa. Mr. Allen's ship was sunk the day after he disembarked. He was also a member of the State Line Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include:
Wife: Ora Lee Jones Allen
Sons: Coy Allen, Terry Allen & Richard Allen
Daughter: Janice Booth
7 Grandchildren & 6 Great Grandchildren
Preceded in death by:
Parents: George Alonzo & Lou Anna Stutts Allen
Son: Joel Allen
Visitation will be Monday February 15 from 10:30-11:00 at Greenhill Funeral Home. The service will follow at 11:00am with Ronald Killen & Ricky Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Allen Cemetery with full military honors.
Pallbearers will be: Brian Allen, Jordan Dean, Zackery Sinyard, Sullivan Hanback, Sawyer Hanback & Sumner Hanback.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
