Obituary of Johnnie Liverett

Johnnie Elton Liverett, 87, died Friday, January 15, 2016 at ECM Hospital. He was born in Lauderdale County to Fonzie and Myrtle Liverett, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by brothers Verdo and Cordell and sister Nadine Hill.
He is survived by wife Oletha and children Annette (Ronnie) Barnett, Linda (Doug) Jones, Curtis (Karon) Liverett and a sister Dora Grisham.
Also survived by grandchildren Ben (Natalie), Chris (Rachel), Andrew (Annie), Katie (Jason), Valerie and Ethan, and 5 beloved great grandchildren., plus many caring nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Ben Barnett, Chris Jones, Andrew Barnett, Ethan Liverett and nephews Waylon Hill and Steve Liverett.
The family would like to express gratitude to the palliative care unit at ECM hospital and to Dr. Danny McFall.
Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 17 at Nebo Church from 1:00-3:00pm with the funeral service following. Burial will be in Nebo Church Cemetery.
