Frank L. Newman, 89, of Greenhill, passed away August 31, 2015 at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home after an extended illness. Mr. Newman was a WWII Naval Veteran and beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
Mr. Newman is survived by wife Frances Lafan Newman; son Michael Frank Newman; brother James Doyle Newman; and (2) grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents Henry and Mattie Newman and sisters Margaret Forsythe and Charlene Newman.
The funeral service for Mr. Newman will be Friday, September 4, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. There will be a 1 hour visitation prior to service. Bro. Miles Stutts will officiate. Burial will be in Loretto Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
