Martha Jo Matthews Flippo Brown, 66, of Florence, AL, passed away July 16, 2015 after an extended illness. Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her mother Pauline Mae Matthews; sons Robert Dewayne Flippo and Anthony Wade (Pistol) Flippo; daughters Belinda Flippo Ferk and Mona Flippo Lewis; (11) grandchildren; and (9) great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Terrel Matthews; brother Randy Terrel Matthews; and sister Mary Lois Pitman.
Visitation for Mrs. Brown will be Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 12-2:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Perry Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Richardson Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Ferk, Byron Michael, Jr., Tyler Allen, Chuck Young, Brian Faulk, and Devan Ferk.
