William Robert Charles, 95, of Killen, passed away July 11, 2015 at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home. He was a member of Atlas Church of Christ, a construction foreman, and a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Survivors include: Sons: Tommy (Pam) Charles - Memphis Jimmy Charles - Texas Daughter: Sue (Jackie) Chandler - Killen Sister: Sally (Dave) Carpman Grandsons: Jacob Charles - Memphis Jason (Amanda) Chandler - Killen Great Grandchildren: Charlie and Katelynn Chandler - Killen A number of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: Wife of 46 years, Willodean Charles Parents: William and Hazel Charles (4) Brothers (4) Sisters Visitation will be Monday, July 13, from 5:00-8:00 pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Miles Stutts and Howell Bigham officiating. Burial will be in Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Woods, Brent Tate, Ray Dunn, Dennis Charles, Ricky Roden, and David Charles. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Chandler, Jacob Charles, Charlie Chandler, and Katelynn Chandler.
