Obituary of Calvin Coolidge Bryant

Calvin Coolidge Bryant, Sr., 85, of the Piney Community, died January 23, 2009, at Scott Health Care in Lawrenceburg. He was a retired farmer, of the Church of Christ faith, a former member of the Lawrenceburg Rotary Club, a former member of the Lawrence County Board of Education, and a former Road Superintendent of Lawrence County. Survivors include: Sons: Bill Bryant and wife Carolyn of Lynchburg and Lawrenceburg Jack Bryant of Lawrenceburg Daughter: Judge Patty McGuire of Lawrenceburg Sisters: Ms. Dean Gobble and Ms. Clara Mae Williams Grandchildren: Calvin Bryant, III, Chris Bryant, Curt McGuire, Tanner Bryant, and Tucker Bryant Great Grandchildren: Tori Bryant, John Calvin Bryant, Rob McGuire, Tyson Bryant, Analise McGuire, and Mason Bryant. Preceded in death by: Wife: Jewell Butler Bryant Parents: William Thomas and Bessie McDonald Bryant Brother: Link Bryant Sister: Gladys Rochelle Visitation will be Sunday, 5:00-8:00pm at Neal Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday at 10:00am at Neal Funeral Home with R. C. Peppers officiating. Burial will be in Rochelle Cemetery. The grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family requests that memorials be made to: Rochelle Cemetery Fund, 175 Reed Patch Rd, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464, or A Kid's Place Child Advocacy Center, 202 Deller St., Lawrenceburg, TN 38464. Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
