Joe Miles Russell, 80, of Killen, passed away April 11, 2015 at his residence after an extended illness. He worked for General Motors for 37 years and returned to the Killen area in 1989. He was in the Army from 1957-1961. He was a cutter in the automotive industry. He enjoyed gardening and was married for 52 years to his wife C.J.
Survivors include:
Wife: Carol (C.J.) Hancock Russell
Son: James David Russell - Paris, TN
Daughter: Denise Jo Russell - Dearborn Hts, MI
Brother: James O. Russell - Killen

(2) Great Grandchildren
Preceded in death by:
Son: Frank Joseph Russell
Parents: Louis and Willie Tee Parker Russell
Grandson: Louis Hawk Russell
There will be a private funeral service at Harrison Cemetery in Killen at a later date. There will be a visitation on April 15 from 3:00-6:00pm at the residence at 595 County Road 25 in Killen, AL.
