Walter Douglas Peden, 71, of Florence, AL, passed away January 21, 2015 at ECM Hospital of a brief illness. Mr. Peden was an Army Veteran and of the Church of Christ faith.
Survivors include:
Wife: Diane Gist Peden
Daughter: Melissa Peden Burbank (Chris) of Florence, AL
Brother: Grady Peden of Florence, AL
Sister: Nellie Hunter (Glen) of Lilburn, GA
(5) Grandchildren
(5) Great Grandchildren & another arriving in April
Numerous nieces & nephews
Preceded in death by:
Parents: George & Georgia Clemons Peden
Brother: Ford Peden
Sisters: Ruth Owen & Billie McGee
Visitation for Mr. Peden will be Friday, January 23, 2015 from 5:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Tim Grigsby & Bro. Charles Kretzer with burial in Shiloh Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Harry Peden, Christopher Burbank, Jason Burbank, Bobby Owen, Justin Woodard, & Tony Ritter.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
