Billie Mae Peden McGee, 84, of Florence, AL, passed away January 14 at her home of an extended illness. Mrs. McGee was a housewife, member of Lone Cedar Church of Christ, and Treasurer of Stepping Stones For Children.
Mrs. McGee is survived by son Ronnie E. McGee (Joyce) of Flat Rock, AL; daughter Donna Ruth Darby of Florence; brothers Grady and Douglas Peden (Diane), both of Florence; sister Nellie Hunter (Glen) of Lilburn, GA; (3) grandchildren; and (4) great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents George Peden and Georgia Ella Peden; husband Enoch W. McGee; son Lonnie Dean McGee; brother Ford Peden; and sister Ruth Owen.
Visitation for Mrs. McGee will be Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Tim Grigsby officiating. Burial will be in Lone Cedar Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
