Obituary of Millard Shelton

Millard Shelton, 67, of Lexington, passed away April 10, 2011 at the home of his sister after an extended illness. He was a retired Iron Worker, a U.S. Army Veteran, and a 1962 graduate of Lexington High School.
Visitation will be Monday, April 11, from 4:00 - 8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 12, at 2:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Randy French officiating. Burial will be in Richardson Chapel Cemetery with Military Honors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Lillie Bell Shelton, and a sister, Watsella Shelton.
Survivors include a sister, Norma Davis and husband Johnny of Lexington, and a brother, Alvin Glenn Shelton of Lexington.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the employees of Hospice of the Shoals, Dawn Czermak, Brandy Blanton, Lisa Chandler, Michelle Cooper, Susan Hanson, and David Rushlow. Also, special thanks to everyone that helped out during his illness.
Pallbearers will be Brent Davis, Kevin Davis, Butch Jones, J.L. Springer, Mike Ells, and Bud Slagle.
