Obituary of Joe Morton

Joseph M. "Joe" Morton, 55, of Iron City, TN, passed away July 16, 2014 after an extended illness. Mr. Morton was an employee of Loretto Telephone Company and attended Iron City Church of Christ.
Survivors include brothers John & Alvon, both of Iron City, TN and William of Detroit, MI; sisters Sarah Wilson of Waverly, KY, Carolyn Ewing of Lewisburg, TN, and Deowatha Lynn of Stone Mountain, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Morton was preceded in death by his parents John Newton and Virginia Dare Allen Morton and by his brother Berry Morton.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 20, 2014 from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Alvin Alston and Mark Collier officiating. Burial will be in Wade Cemetery.
