David Ray Burbank, 72, of Rogersville, passed away June 2, 2014 at ECM Hospital in Florence. He was retired from TVA-Brown's Ferry. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in the Viet Nam War in 1968-1969, a Baptist, and member of Labor Local 366. Survivors include: Wife: Jean Humphrey Burbank Grandchild: Chase Burbank Numerous nieces and nephews Preceded in death by: Parents: Theodore Roosevelt Burbank and Myrtle Dotson Burbank Son: Jamie Burbank Brothers: Robert and Kenneth Burbank Sister: Evelyn Miller Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 1:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hickory Flatt Cemetery with full Military Honors. Pallbearers will be J. W. Durham, Devin Durham, Josh Means, Benji Kilpatrick, Cody Martin, and Daniel Durham. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Durham and Jayden Durham. The family would like to thank all the nurses , staff, and doctors on the CTR unit at ECM. Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
