Obituary of Movaline Young

Annie Movaline Young, born June 12, 1931, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 24, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was a member of Shiloh Church of Christ. Visitation will be Friday, April 25, 2014 at Greenhill Funeral Home from 6-8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 26 at Greenhill Funeral Home with Tim Grigsby and Wayne Green officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery. She was a precious mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She loved quilt-making.
Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James R. Young and her great-grandson Ryan Daniel Young. She is survived by her children : Kaye Rushing (Travis)- Florence, AL; Larry Young (Donna)-Florence, AL; Janice Warren (Dennis)-Killen,AL; and Shelia Willis (Ed)-Florence, AL; grandchildren Lori Myrick (Ken), Derrill Young, Nathan Springer (Bethany), Bradley Willis (Cayce), Brooke Willis, and Ashley Farrar (Cody); great-grandchildren Ethan, Hannah Beth, Kendal Myrick, Ella Springer, and Brynlee Faith Willis; siblings Lucille Gladney, Frances Cain (Harvey), Ozell Gist, Steve Gist (Carolyn), and Debbie Phillips (Jimmy); and sisters-in-law Betty Williams and Frances Young.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Springer, Derrill Young, Bradley Willis, Cody Farrar, Ken Myrick, Tim Dixon, and Eric Clemmons. The family would like to especially thank Gentiva Hospice, Dr. Patricia Auxier and Beth Pirtle, and caregivers Feariea Thornton, Sue Bogus, Carol Webster, and Sally Richardson.
